Special Guest Hosts

 
Martin Garcia

Martin Garcia studied at Improv Olympic, The Annoyance Theatre, and most extensively, at The Second City Conservatory in Chicago.  A week after completing the conservatory program, Martin was hired by The Second City.  He toured for 2 ½ years with The Second City National Touring Company.  He continued his Second City career by writing and performing in 6 revues, 3 on The Second City ETC Stage, and 3 on The Second City Mainstage.  He received “Best Actor in a Revue” nominations for his first two shows.  He continued performing with The Second City in Las Vegas and on cruise ships.  Martin also teaches improv at The Second City-Hollywood and directs shows there, including HisPanic Attack, and the 2018 and 2019 Bob Curry Fellowship Showcases.  Martin has many TV credits including E.R., Black-ish, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Fresh Off the Boat, recurring roles on Season 3 of Ray Donovan, Season 2 of Get Shorty, and Season 1 of Lopez.  He made his feature film debut in the film Ingrid Goes West.  Martin is repped by Nic DeArmendi at The Park Agency and managed by Maritza Cabrera at Citizen Skull Productions. Martin (with Hispanic Attack) will be going to the HA! Comedy Festival in San Antonio 9/17-9/19/21.

Lorna Silva is an improviser, actor, writer, translator, director and above all a storyteller. She is a graduate of the Second City Hollywood Directing Program. Lorna is an ensemble member of Breath of Fire Latina Theater Ensemble and Off the Tracks Theater in Southern California, and GHB Producciones (virtually) in Mexico. She has taught improv in Spanish all over Los Angeles, and has studied improv at Comedy Sportz and UCB in the United States, and with master teachers in Spain and Latin America. She directed her original comedy sketch show Token Society at Second City Hollywood in 2019, where she was also assistant director for the Bob Curry Fellowship Showcase and the original main stage scripted comedy "That's the end of our time". She is developing her narrative improv show Overlooked based on the stories of overlooked women in history. Lorna created a two minute sketch that was featured as part of Center Theatre Group's Community Stories series.
